Prepress Services
It's all about the service!
Producing quality products and meeting tight deadlines starts with Prepress.

We apply our experience from hundreds of projects to create a production timetable and an approval process that is hassle-free and guaranteed to deliver a flawless product, on time.

To ensure our client's needs are consistently being met, we have invested in the latest software, hardware, and plate making equipment available.

Our ability to go direct to plate, coupled with our no bake plate technology, allows us to produce
high quality plates and get on press quickly.

Our Prepress Professionals work closely with our press operators to ensure your projects are produced consistently,
on time and looking their best.
Once we receive your artwork, our prepress department will generate a "soft proof" for your approval
on color and layout.

A "soft proof" is a final high-resolution PDF of your file which is generated by our PDF workflow system.  Approve the proof or request a change.

Once you approve of the PDF, we will then send you a set of "hard proofs".

A "hard proof" is a 600 dpi inkjet paper proof made from the final high-resolution PDF we create of your file.

We will overnight these to you and ask that you sign one for color and content approval and send it back to us.
This signed proof will remain with your job at press to insure color accuracy.  The second copy is for you to keep
for referral purposes.

Once we receive the signed proof, standard delivery is approximately four weeks to delivery.
Proof Approval Process
  • Our proofing devices are calibrated to match our presses, and very accurate for color.
  • Hard proofs are printed on a standard semi-gloss inkjet paper, and are single-sided.
  • Crop marks are left on the proof for you to confirm that your artwork has appropriate bleed settings.
  • Hard proofs are intended to confirm content and color ONLY.
